editing a pdf file

can i do this? i only have reader. i cant buy any additional software.
is there any way this can be done? i need to edit a form.

    Think you need to buy the Adobe software to edit a PDF. That is the point of a PDF, it can't just be edited by anyone.

    A cheaper alternatve to Adobe Acrobat for editing pdfs is Serif PagePlus 11. I have used it for editing application forms in pdf format. Serif charge £99.99 but you'll get it cheaper on eBay. HTH

    thanks for the tip, unfortunatly i can't buy any software as it's for my company and the budget is too underspent to pay out for anything!

    even if you have adobe acrobat you will only be able to make small changes. You would be better redoing the file in a word doc or adobe indesign/quark depending on what you have. Pdf's are basically flattened source files that are used for print and email.

    I think it has been mentioned in an earlier thread, but PDF995 (http://www.pdf995.com) may do the trick.
