Heatwise with Powergen - can I switch?
I'm currently with Powergen on their 'Domestic Heatwise' tariff. This involves having 4 meters and they switch the cheap rate on and off remotely somehow rather than by a timer as with economy 7. Does this set up mean I'm tied in or can I still shop around? None of the online comparators seem to apply....

Of course you can switch, but you can't take you heatwise with you. Powergen are (certainly in my area) the only company that offer heatwise. If you really need/want your afternoon and evening top-ups, they have you by the short and curlies.
Personally, I'm on Economy 7 with Heatwise and I've just decided that I don't need heatwise, and am in the process of switching.0
