withdrawal of money back credit

i have had alliance & leicester credit card for several years now, always pay on time, (therfore never pay any interest), and untill now have always had money back,i have just received a letter to say they are withdrawing this feature,(i can still use the card) .to rub salt into the wound,in a seperate mailing some days later they were telling me of all the benifits of there credit card ,inc. money back! my wife also has a A&L card and has not had any letter of withdrawal (she has only had the card for 6months)
are they in in order?

'Fraid so. You can alway vote with ur feet and change cards. Nationwide give 1% in first 6 months. Also read Martin's article

Nationwide are reducing cashback too.

Yup. To be exact as of 1st March:

The cashback will drop from 0.5% to 0.25%
The introductory rate will drop from 1% to 0.5%
The APR is going up 1%.
No cashback on foreign purchases any more
Maximum interest-free period is being reduced to 46 days from 56

Oh what joy! It really is proving to be a long hard winter... Still you can never make as much with cashback as you can with stoozing..

Nothing at all but if one has to go, I'd rather it was cashback
