Post office credit card free balance transfer to end!

I have just heard from a friend who works for the PO that they are to end the free balance transfer on the 2nd of October and start charging the usual 2.5% fee.
They are increasing the 0% period to 8 months on balance transfers and reducing the 0% on purchases from 6 to 3 months. Also the limits seem to be more generous than they were to begin with.
Hope this helps cheers.

danbob,
There's no way that your friend will no the exact date when they will charge BT fees unless he/ she works with the Bank of Ireland which is the card issuer but I might be wrong.

Trust me it will definately end on the 2nd or 3rd oct.
All the staff have been advised to use this as a selling point to increase sales.0 -
I'll have to go our nearest P.O. and investigate myself. I am still waiting for my credit report then I'll try to beat the deadline if you we're right.0

Doesn't surprise me at all. It was too good to last and there were a couple of PO employees on here last week saying basically the same thing.0
