tell him to go for one of the free charities instead - that way his money will go to paying off his debts and not lining the pockets of a private company.
Better still, lend him your computer and tell him to have a look about here!

Tell him to go to the CCCS. They are a registered charity and won't charge a penny for his services.
Please don't let him go anywhere else. Those companies that advertise on TV (first Direct included) can only afford to do so because they make bucket loads out of their clients.
Think of the CCCS as an equivalent of MSE.0 -
try to stay away, all they do is what payplan did for me for nothing. they promise this and that but the long and short of it is the creditors like payplan and i think the other is ccc because you do not pay for the service hence the creditors get all your available funds rather than whats left over after you pay the company.
obviously this is just my personal experience.
hope it helps0 -

Thanks for the replies so far, I don't know much about this company but one thing I have found out is they are likely to beat their projected £9.3 million profit by 10% in April!!! :eek:Honorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts.
