Can I Just Say.....

I think this board is FAB

OK I've been a member for a long time now, but you lot are great! Whenever I'm low at work, you always cheer me up

Why is it we can all find like minded people on here, and we all get on (near enough) all the time, but in the normal day to day life, most people make life a pain in the rear end!!!

Huge thanks to all who share tips and recipes

LONG LIVE OLD STYLE!!

And me, I am at home on extended mat leave, and I only found this thread recently, I really feel part of something again, and not just JO's Mummy.
I've gone from career woman to homely and loving itlike I never thought I would, thanks to the OS'ers

  • I work full time in an office at the mo, but would much rather be at home baking, cooking, sewing, gardening - anything!!!. I don’t think I would have survived my job this long without my virtual chat over the garden fence everyday.

    Thanks Old Stylers!! :j :A

I'd still be feeling like the mad woman who lives down the road and mustn't be spoken to at the school gates if it weren't for you lot. I'm a freak of nature around here.

Couldn't agree more, I've changed quite a few things, although only baby steps really, since finding OS. Thanks
  • Moggins, I feel exactly the same. I'm the weird woman who lives in the strange house with ALL those cats! And I don't even have kids to take to school so I can worry the mums with my presence. Wicked witch me

  • Its my favourite virtual place for sure, and i love the way that someone always knows everything, like having a load of aunties (and uncles) about the place. I like the way that every question is valid & no one ever makes you feel a twit for asking too.

    Viva OS!

Yes totally agree...an oasis of calmness and common sense. A place to retreat to when the rest of the world seems to have fallen off its rocker.
  • I have to agree also, so much so that you guys have inspired me to register and actually start posting. I have been a lurker on the whole MSE website for over a year now and have only just discovered OS (shame on me:o ). Thankyou for your inspiration:T
