paperless billing

What credit card companies use this system? I use the internet all the time and see no reason to keep getting paper bills, but they do keep sending them! Only ones I've found so far are Egg, Cahoot and Amex. Any more?

A fair point, but a utility bill is an adequate substitute.

Monthly credit card statements are such a wicked waste of paper, IMO, particularly those sent to advise you that your balance is unchanged at £0.00!

I think you'll find Smile can be added to that list.

None that I know of at the moment do this, but would think its not too far away - we already have the opportunity to print our bank statements, landline and mobile phonebills, and certain insurance products so the precident has been sent

Do you know if smile do this automatically, or is it an option (Like with Amex)?
    Thanks in advance!

    If memory serves, it's automatic.

I've got a Smile and Lloyds TSB Current Account and a Egg Money CC and those three are paperless. I'm also paperless with BT.

I find it very useful to keep a track on spending, immediately and makesure I havn't missed anything.

I expect the council tax bill will always be sent out on paper if you need a bill.

Do you not normally need a recent (last 3 months) utility bill, however?
The council tax bill only comes once per year.

I'm paperless with Egg, Smile, my Halifax current account, Bradford & Bingley & Cahoot E savers. I'm also paperless with BT.

That still leaves gas, electricity, water and sewage bills as well as the council tax.

Yes, true I wonder what would actually happen if you couldn't produce the required bills, would a company find away around it, or refuse your business

Its something they are going to have to sort because its obviously the way things are going. Found out yesterday that from December BT are going to be offering all their customers £0.25 reduction in their monthly bills to go paperless and I would have thought the BT was normally on the top of the list of most peoples utility statements to send back
