Now, why, if you arrange accommodation in the UK via a Travel Agent, are you charged for 'Under Occupancy', whilst I have just arranged accommodation via an agent in Spain (and last year in Portugal & Austria) whereby they charge you MORE if you have MORE people in the property .... WHICH IS HOW IT SHOULD BE!!!
It's about time the UK Travel Industry reviews its policies of charging for 'Under Occupancy'. It's because of this particular policy that I, for one, prefer to deal with the accommodation agents in the countries I'm visiting. No wonder well known Travel Agents (Lunn Poly & Going Places, to name but 2) are closing down their High Street shops.

It has taken about 4,500,000,000 (4.5 billion) years for the Earth to form as it is now .........
and it'll only take about another 100 years for mankind to really **** it up!!!!

Whilst I agree with you about under occupancy charges, dont make it sound like its the Travel Agent that is imposing them, its not its the Tour Operators.

In GODs defence, he does say it is the well known Travel Agents (those owned by the Tour Operators) and not the independents PJ.Only 5% of those who can give blood, actually do!
