Car rental without a Credit card? Panic!

Hi,
is there any car rental company that except debt card or cash as payment instead of a credit card?

OR where can i get a credit card on the spot on saturady?

need to rent a car saturady but don't have a credit card!!!

they don't except debt card. Arrrrrr

anyone can you help Please.

    where r u going? there was one that did american cars which accepted visa debit cards or cash if you do a search on orlanda tips or https://www.thedibb.com there was on that i was reffered to. dont know the company name though
  • im travelling to rome, would like to collect the car from the airport if possible.

    so far looking dissapointing. :-(

  • From what I have read up recently the reason for credit card payment is in case the hire car is damaged or stolen...and check for excess insurance it is normally high and worth paying the extra insurance cover to protect yourself from a huge bill if you do get involved in any accident etc...

    Most reputable companies will accept a debit card as payment for car hire. You will though be expected to leave a substantial deposit, maybe in the region of £150-250 or more to cover any possible damage claims/incidentals which would normally be charged straight to your c/card if using one.
    You CANNOT get an on-the-spot c/card from any financial institution.
