Let's rant about ebay sellers!!

New thread (sorry if there's already one here, but I don't think the praise, vents and warnings apply to this person because I'm hoping to have her deleted after this shocking message!)

I ordered a pair of brand new shoes from a seller on ebay. NOWHERE on this message does it state that this woman must have pixie sized feet because after waiting over a week for said items to be delivered, not only could I not get my feet into them, I couldn't even get my toes into them. Didn't take photos but I assure you, my feet are very average width, but only a size 4 so god knows what this woman was playing at. I told her that the shoes are way too small, and in no way are they a size 4 and she admitted that the shoes were very narrow.

It was free P and P so I thought I was getting the bargain of the century. After receiving the shoes, I asked very politely for a refund and she not so politely declined. She told me, via e mail on ebay, that she'd asked her friends if she should refund and they all said no so I opened a dispute. less than 24 hours later, paypal granted my refund and this is the message I received. I will edit as I don't like swearing!

Your a dirty sceeming liar! I did no say to you in one email that the shoes were too narrow in another that I didnt think of putting it! you f****** liar!

Have your money back, you seem like you need it!poor b!tch, complaining over spending £10.00 on a pair of shoes, get a grip!

I had better get my shoes back within a week or I will come and get them myself! I know where you live, you low life!

Just remember, what goes around, comes around!

Now, run along like a little school girl and go and tell ebay I have wrote you a nasty message!

Hilariously, I received this message right after she received tracking information for the shoes.

Am I unlucky or are there other people on ebay that are just as vicious??

I didn't reply to her, just reported her to ebay. What she doesn't know is that yes, I am desperate for money as I am disabled and that today is my birthday so she put a downer on the whole day!

Can't wait to see how much it would cost her to come and find me, from Hampshire to Bradford :-) The stupid girl left me nasty feedback.... but messed up and it has been posted as positive feedback with an evil message!!

OK, rant over. I'd appreciate your horror stories. She'd have a shock if she did come to "find me!" she'd discover I'm not a push over. What are the chances that ebay will close her account??
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

She didn't mess up with her feedback as such (well, actually she has but not by leaving a positive)... as a seller, she can only leave you positive feedback or nothing at all. If she's been malicious in her comments, report it to ebay and get it removed.

    Good luck.

Make sure you leave her negative, and mention the term "abusive"

    Thanks to you all

Mikey, I did exactly that. I mentioned the term abusive and said she'd been reported. That's what you get for messing with me :-)

Fridayschild, the rest of my day is going great, thanks to the zinger tower burger and the cheap booze lol. Thank you for your kind wishes.

She's more a buyer than seller but only has 10 feedback in nearly a year of being a member. She buys a lot of sweets from what I can see!!!

Negative feedback left, hope her feedback to me gets deleted. What a nasty piece of work!!!

Oh yes, take some time to leave the 'best' negative that you can.

  • Just a quickie, you do know don't you, that you actually have to ask for your feedback to be removed? It won't happen automatically.

and yet another good reason why sellers can no longer leave negatives.

I actually had my first abusive customer in about 3 years (and 10000+ transactions) a couple of weeks ago, its still the case that most Ebayers are nice, certainly in my experience. It is surprising how much little things affect you though, so if it does happen put it in perspective and move on.

OP, you might like to remove your ebay id from your OP... I assume that is your real ID.
