Kitchen Lighting Layout Advice

Hi, I've done a kitchen lighting layout as shown below and would love people's thoughts and suggestions on lamp choices.

The small lights are LED recessed GU10's for task lighting the work areas but I'd like some advice on what type of light to use for general lighting of the room and table area (The large ovals) if anybody has any ideas?
Thanks in advance
- Andy

I like this style light but a little moneysaving would be in order and a brushed chrome finish would have been better to match the kitchen handles. http://www.thelightingsuperstore.co.uk/product.asp?productid=44811
The kitchen is IKEA Tidaholm oak doors.
Also CFLs would be preferable I think for the general lighting.0 -

CFLs will be too dim... get a strip of 3 or 4 GU10 50W for each of the 3 general room area lights. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0
