I predicted peak 2007 peak prices by autumn this year. London and some SE regions are probably already there, but how close is the national index?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. This won't do at all.
Don't you know buyers are meant to be put of by the impending General election thus driving prices down?
On the other hand, the 21st of March has now been and gone and I'm sure that was meant to be relevant too...
It's all too confusing!Go round the green binbags. Turn right at the mouldy George Elliot, forward, forward, and turn left....at the dead badger0 -
Sky News leading with this strongly, after prices "suffered" last month. This could boost Labour's election hopes even further.
I think the bears need to learn that nothing has changed. The media will continue to report HPI as cause for celebration. The public will continue to lap it up. The upward price movements will continue to feed into upward movement. And Labour or Tory, both will intervene if prices slip after the election.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. but what about the election - surely that alone will force down prices 60%0

Up more in one single month than most peoples pay rise in the entire year at the moment.
Stamp duty savings wiped out within a single month.
Some more people unable to save simply their deposit at the rate of HPI, whereby they save each month, but the deposit becomes less of a percentage required each month.
Good for some, bad for some. But theres some serious issues being built up again at the moment.
Turnbull2000 is correct. It's just a shame that we are steering smack bang into an even bigger disaster, while trying to tune the engine to make it go faster and faster.0 -

...........“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
