'TESCOING' building your points with clever use of vouchers

hi, ive discovered a tesco loophole at teh minute thats similar to boosting, you boost your tesco points whist getting lots of beauty stuff/toiletries for next to nowt by using teh vouchers from the new health and beauty bargains booklet (theyre red, just a bit smaller than A4 in size and avaliable at cs, pharmacy counters and tills as far as i can see.)

inside these booklets there are vouchers for:

50 points when you spend £2 or more on toiletery products
£2.50 off when you spend £10 on toiletries
£1 off when you spend £4 on toiletries

teh beauty of these is that they work on teh subtotal not teh eventual total, so if you use bogofs and 2-for-£2 etc. you get to use more and tehy all work together

an example transaction i did yesterday:

4 x sensitive face wipes (£1.49 each, 2 for £2)
2 x dove deodrant (£1.82 each, 2 for £2.90)
2 x sunsilk shampoo (£1.84 each, bogof)
2 x radox bubble bath (£1.48 each, 2 for £2)
2 x lynx shower gel (£1.88 each, bogof)

the sub-total is £20 (even though its actually only £12.62 after all teh delas)

so i used:
10 x 50 points when you spend £2 or more on toiletery products
2 x £2.50 off when you spend £10 on toiletries
5 x £1 off when you spend £4 on toiletries

so i only spent £2.62 and got 500 points back

i paid at teh self-scan and teh lady came over to ask about all my vouchers, i showed them to her and she looked at all teh stuff at teh end of teh tills and she had to agree taht id bought all the stuff on teh vouchers and that tesco's own coupons wouldnt go through if you hadn't bought teh stuff anyway.

to get teh best value you need a total spend (before delas) that goes into 10 and 4 and you need to get bogof's and deals so that you get money off money you havent actually spent.

the vouchers are valid until 27th august, giving us pleanty of tiem to stock up on boxes full of toiletries and save up enough clubcard points for a trip to teh moon! :)

20 pounds worth of products for 2.62 thats exellent and 500 points too. Could make up great x mas hampers with all the stuff too. Thanks for the post i don't know if i'd be brave enough to try myself i've never used self scan before and i'm upset with tesco at the mo but might feel better if i managed to get such a good deal from them.

Have i got this right u could get 11 bottle of lynx shower gel for less than 3.50 and make 500 points so i guess u would be making 1.50 profit and have 11 bottles of shower gel

perhaps try a bit smaller then to start with? you could get £12 worth (before delas) and use 1 x £2.50, 3 x £1 and 6 x 50 points then and it wouldnt be as much, i guess you could do it through teh regular tills too? good luck! :)

Someone on Bob's said the same thing as Freebie Junkie, so it must work with multiple vouchers in one transaction.

    I can't find the booklets though!!! :(

Oooooh, I feel such an amateur now, I'd sussed out that it gave you the points for the total spend before deductions, but thought you could only use one coupon in a transaction, so hadn't combined with the other vouchers.

I'm off to my local store which (last time I went) had loads of these booklets. If I can pick up a wedge I'll let you all know!
