used Van prices
Hi, sorry If I appear to be a bit thick, but here goes -
I want to buy a used van (transit connect size) to use privately to cart around my dogs. Am I right in saysing that the prices listed for vans does not include VAT and that I am liable to pay it since the van will be for private use?

You will likely have to pay the VAT , but not because it is for private use. A private sale may come up where the seller is not VAT registered and then you wouldn't be paying any VAT.0
