NatWest new Visa card replaces Maestro

I have received my new NatWest Visa card today and been instructed to destroy my old Maestro card. No problems with that, and apparently I can use my existing PIN for cash withdrawals etc., but what about Direct Debits? Will I have to inform everyone that I have a DD with that I have a new card with a new number? There are LOADS, and I'm not sure how to contact them all.
Panicking a bit...

Thanks for quick reply!
They are mostly Direct Debits and one Standing Order, as far as I'm aware they are all linked to my current account number not the card, so that sounds okay. I seem to remember in the dim and distant past my ISP provider (was Freeserve, now Orange) flagging up that a payment had failed as the card number was not recognised, shortly after I had received a new debit card, so I must have some different set-up with them.
For online shopping obviously I will have to change any that have my card number stored for repeat use.
Thanks, I feel better for knowing that, phew.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
