Hermes Home Delivery

So I saw a lovely dress, really suitable for an upcoming night out. Placed order. All good.
Came home today to a "Sorry you were out card" which stated that the item had been placed in my blue bin.... Surprise Surprise, no parcel in the bin. No parcels in my neighbour's bin. Not been left with a neighbour.
No telephone number on the card for Hermes. So I call Simply Be. They can't log it as missing until the 4th of March :eek: Even though I have the card in front of me which kinda proves that a delivery attempt has been made.
Does anyone else think this is kinda stupid? I could understand it if the card stated that it had been returned somewhere or had been left with a neighbour. But surely it's obvious that it's either been nicked from the bin or the other without making accusations against someone?
Needless to say it's the last time I will order from Simply Be, when they are using this delivery company, and will check with future online shopping who will be doing the delivering.
