Question on postage to russia

Hope this isn't a stupid question.

I have an item listed on ebay and decided that I would be happy to sell overseas as i have sent a few items to Spain and France without probems in the past. I have had a question from a buyer in Russia. She wants to pay by paypal and was asking about delivary cost. The item weighs 1kg but I may be able to reduce this , however I cannot find a trackable option for posting to russia. Am i leaving myself open to probems ? I did suggest payment by bank transfer but she prefers paypal.

    If the item is under £39 then you have the same level of protection against loss as you do with international signed for, in that if item gets lost RM will pay the value of the item and postage out.

    All my overseas items go simply airmail but I do limit my sales to items up to £39 only.

    You will also need a customs label to Russia.

    I always forget those, I remember the little blue stickers but forget the huge wad of customs labels on a roll that I have on my desk. I wouldn't mind but I ship several parcels every day overseas and it is like a blind spot with me.
