  • They do send it Boots but i can't use it as it wrecked the skin on my hands which took me nearly 3 months to sort out. It's very drying and very strong too, which it has to be, but i can't use the ones on the hospital wards either, i really don't know how nurses go on using it like they do.
  • There is a substantial difference in the ones used on wards / clinical setting versus commerial ones. I use everyday in my lab work and hands are fine. Really though it is a sertilser not a cleanser so depending on your use and need perhaps a Hibi / surgical scrub type product would be worth looking at. Or iodine based scrub - very good godl standard for sterilisation in clinical and other settings. We buy in bulk for work so I add my order on to theirs - v cheap! https://www.connect2cleanrooms.com has good info on it - but a bit technical

Ironically I can't use the one my NHS Trust provides as I'm sensitive to the emollent added to it.

I find Purell/GoJo brilliant though - and was the one I used to use in the lab in my old life as a researcher... http://international.gojo.com/

You can also order it through: http://www.hand-cleaners.co.uk/shop/enter.html?lang=en-uk&target=d27.html&gclid=CL_-yfGqgIcCFRemQgodE1y0Jw
