AA reward points

in Credit cards
I've noticed AA are doing a CC with reward points but on close inspection I can't see anywhere what the value of the points is when they are redeemed. Does anyone know what they are worth?
I'd only be using the card to get rewards, I always, always, always, pay off in full. Have got a goldfish and Amex platinum was just wondering if there's anthing more rewarding out there?

There's a reward calc on this page which lists the aa credit card http://www.credit-card-comparison-online.co.uk/rewards/
Not sure how much each point is though, you'll have to do the math from the results.
Have you got AA breakdown cover? You earn double points if you do.0 -
Oh thank you dylan, the more info link from yours tells me 1 point = 1p which is what I wanted to know. As an AA member I can get 2% back on petrol and car type purchases and 1 % on normal 'stuff'. That's actually not bad.........
................the question being do I want to mess about with another bit of plastic? Hmmmmmm.Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20 -
I'm pretty sure it's the best one for petrol at the moment.
Have you already got your new AmEx rewards for supermarkets and department stores then? :T0 -
I've not had any changes to my Amex as far as I know, have had it for over a year. I wonder if it's a new customer offer for the supermarkets?
I should look into it but not too well at the moment so it's a balance of hassle over profits.Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20 -
Oh it's a new card.
You get 1 point per £1 spent, but then you get triple points in any major supermarket (doesn't include petrol) and double points in department stores (like debenham, boots, etc...)
You can then redeem the points for high street shopping vouchers.
I think the reward worth is quite good though, especially if you're spending in supermarkets a lot (although the triple points is limited to a spending ceiling, then you earn 1 point on spending above that - everything else is unlimited I believe).
5000 points = £25 voucher0
