We tend to use an electric fan..placed pointing towards the bottom of the bed, and we let it move about so it circulates the cool air.If you obey all the rules...you miss all the fun!! Katherine Hepburn0

I used to use a large desktop fan, sat on top of a tall wardrobe and pointing slightly downward, running on the slowest speed and oscilating

worked a charm.
btw, Lidl have a tower fan on special atm, somewhere around 12 quid I believe."If you really want to hurt your parents and you don't have nerve enough to be homosexual, the least you can do is go into the arts."0 -

Yes..................sounds to good to be true, but they really do work!
I ordered 2 and am looking at ordering another 2 for abroad (they get a bit to heavy to carry in your suitcase when filled).
The last 2 nights where its been especially hot, I've slept like a dream. Worth every penny.

Open the loft hatch to give the heat somewhere to rise to and leave your bedroom door ajar.0

bloody hell a bit expensive!!!!
All I do is get a freezer block like one you use for picnics wrap it in a tea towle and just use it like a hot water bottle. Last night I was so hot I got it and just layed it on my chest. It was lovelly. Also it will only cost you a few quid.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
any ideas gratefully received , my daughter lives in a maisonette and above her bedrooms is a flat tarmaced roof, she has every window open upstairs at night but still her children especially the baby find sleeping difficult. She has fans but because of the flat roof the temperature is 28* in the middle of the night... last night she had to take the baby downstairs and sit in the garden with her till she cooled down , sponging with cool water helped but as soon as she goes back upstairs the baby is sweating again.... I don't know what else to suggest ....#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j
