Their Go Fix tariff has no exit fee, opinion seems to be that npower customer service is very bad.
Their prices include £100 discount for DD but it says
Your discount would be applied to your first statement after your anniversary date and each 12 months you continue to pay this way thereafter. Stay with us and continue to pay in this way and you'll get a £100 annual discount if you buy both electricity and gas.
It's been mentioned on here that you may not get a statement for 6 months after the end of the first 12 months, so you have to stay with them to get that discount!0 -

Not sure how long the Quidco cash back takes, may be worth a punt to get the cash back and energy monitor and then run.
Thanks for info. The tariff ( Web17) with free energy monitor does according to the text have exit penalty, for me was also an expensive tariff, Fixed tariff also was expensive for me.
I went for Go Save which I dont believe has exit penalties via TCB ( HCP claim) as ill get xtra 2%.
I only plan to stay until I get the Cashback.

My cashback has been validated with EDF and my account is active, do you think I'll be able to move. I usually wait until it goes to received...0

I have applied to move even though im awaiting cashback from EDF, in fact after over 2 months im still awaiting EDF to both take over the supply and ask me for opening meter reading.
I dont believe that new supplier will contact existing supplier until at least after 14 days have elapsed since application was made.

A relative changed to Npower in Dec 2008,her first bill was in June 2009,her next bill was last month which showed discount of £50 for each fuel.
So she did receive her DD £100 discount exactly 12 months from joining Npower.0 -

I'm also waiting for it to change from validated to received before I jump ship. It was estimated to be paid out in December so they're taking their time!0
