I only send about 20 so its not big issue - although in past few years have knocked few people off usually if I send and no card for 2years.
Having said that as long as people value them and are just 'famously hopeless' or too old or ill to return I continue to send.
I make mine so its nice to send instead as a gift to say thinking of you.0 -
Hope not - I didn't get alot of mine posted this year because we couldn't get out with the snow and other circumstances. Hope that people would realise that otherwise we won't get many cards next year. I'm also a bigger believer of giving rather than receiving - so what if someone doesn't send me one doesn't mean to say i don't want to send them one.0

I do scratch people off when i'v not had one back for the past year or so.
I know there are some people that will not send cards unless they recieve one first, and I usually give in and send one first.
If i care about folks, I do send them one anyway, whether or not i get one back, I love sending and making and chosing nice cards. You can stand there and agonize........

If I don't receive a card one year, I send again the next year just in case it got lost in the post but if I don't receive a card the second year, then they are removed from my card book.0

Sometimes my only contact with old friends is a Christmas card.
A number of years ago, I did not receive a card from an old friend. The following year I checked the voters roll and she was still at the same address so I sent off her card.
That year her card came minus her OHs name!
A few years later another males name was on her cards.
She then announced she was getting married again.
A few years later there was a new addition to the card......
Now I still don't know what happened to her 1st hubby and I don't know if the new name is another child (would mean a large age gap and 40+ Mum) or the pet!!!!
We will and should catch up some day! We say it every year but have not yet and I don't think she stays more than 50 miles from me!0 -
As above - sometimes my contact with old school mates is through a Xmas card. I send about 50 and get about 30 back. Loads of the ones we send to OH single mates arent replicated but im sure they appreciate - just blokes in there last 20's dont bother.0
