Has anyone had any luck booking tickets with Midland Mainline.

I'm also trying to get to London from Leeds and everytime I go into their website I get

Quote:
Tracs2Core error '800a0034'

Bad file name or number

/Time_Table/QTT_Display_Timetable.asp, line 70
Going onto thetrainline website gives the train times but very little, at weekends, for under £90 return

I find the only chance of getting anything other than the standard ticket is to turn up at the station! Sorry

If you would like me to go to the local station PM me.

No need, I pass through Leeds station every day along with the rest of the Lemmings

BTW been looking at other trips from different places and it's very difficult to get cheap on-line fares no matter which versio of thetrainline you use.

Has there been some pricing policy change to further restrict cheap tickets

apparently the website has been bad since Xmas, with no way of booking these promo tickets. The call centre use the same website - so you will not get any help there either. I then went to St Pancras to get tickets, and guess what..... they use the same booking system also!! dont hold your breath on these 'promo' tickets - but best of luck...
