Looking for a honeymoon. newquay to benidorm May 2010, please help?

Hi All, please can you help me. I am getting married on May 6th 2010 and looking for a cheapish honeymoon away. We live in Cornwall and Newquay airport is only 15 minutes away so that is good for us. It flys direct to Alicante, so a holiday to benidorm seems the obvious choice. We are happy with that. We want to fly from newquay as we are taking our 2 year old daughter with us, who has cerebral palsy. and we are hoping this would be less of a hassle with it being local and don't have to pay car park.
we are looking to fly on May 11th for 7 days. looking for a 4-5 star full board or inclusive. Flights at the moment are down to £21.99 per person, so it would cost £160 plus £90 for luggage, which i think is very pricey, does anyone know when ryanair drop the prices? a couple hotels which i have found and like are Deloix Aqua Centre and Hotel Mediterraneo. On teletext the all inclusives are coming in at £960 for us for a week. i was hoping to get it for around £500-£600 if possible. is this realistic?

Deloix Aqua Centre is available for £420 full board for the 3 of you, all inclusive as you have found adds a fair bit to the cost

Palm Beach comes out around the same price

thanks Caz. the cheapest i have found for Deloix Aqua Centre is £402.55 on full board for the 3 of us on last check. and the cheapest for Hotel Mediterraneo is £529.81 on All inclusive. plus we would need shuttles on top

You should go on tripadvisor for some really indepth reports on any hotels you are lookin at

thanks for that tyson, I have already been studying tripadvisor and 2 hotels that i have been looking at are ranked 7th and 9th out of 215. thanks again

Have you considered just taking hand luggage - or only one suitcase in the hold?

Those prices sound quite cheap to me as I don't think there are many real bargains flights from newquay.

you might have a good idea there pee, i have just checked and hand luggage is 10kg per person and normal luggage is 15kg per person so not much difference really. like you say maybe have to take one extra bag, because i will be travelling with 2 women and all their shoes. as for the bargains i did find in october that if i could have travelled on oct 10th 09 and returned oct 20th 09 it was £30 return for all 3 of us. unfortunately icouldn't get the time off and we didn't have the daughters passport . so i am hoping for £30 return, that would be awesome! does anyone know where you can get specific hand luggage size cases?
