Pashmina Gift - only £2.50, looks much more :)

I wanted some pashminas for my mum and MIL but in the city I live they were either cheap and nasty (sorry Primark, I didn't like yours, too rough feeling) or extremely over priced (£10 - £40!)
So I found an ebay shop selling them at £2.39 (free postage) and ordered a 'test one' for myself. It was nice and soft and had a decent weight so I went ahead and ordered two more. They come wrapped in cello and really creased up so I took them out of the wrapping (leaving the tags on) and ironed them. Then I took a sheet of christmas tissue paper (£1 for 20 sheets at Poundland) and gently re folded with tissue between the layers. Then I wrapped up with the usual bows and ribbons - they look lovely! A nice present for about £2.50

What's the ebay shop name? I LOVE pashminas! x

I wasn't sure if I was allowed to post it (I'm not affiliated in any way!) I think the user is called monkeying about (or very similar), if you search for pashminas theirs are £2.39, free delivery 2nd class (took about 4 days) and they have loads of colours.0

Thanks! Love pashminas but always wary of ordering from ebay/quality etc. Will give these a go on your recommendation - just ordered two!

I just received 20 of these from the user in question....ordered on monday and delivered today so service is great!
They're a real bargain...as OP says, opening them up, adding some backing board, tissue paper and a bit of ribbon will finish them off nicely!
Cheers for the tip KittyKate!0 -

Does anyone have photo of their pashminas, ready as Christmas gifts, with tissue paper and ribbon? I was thinking about doing this for some friends and would love to see how you have finished yours. There is a light at the end of every tunnel... just pray it’s not a train! _pale_0
