Anyone heard of COHESIAN CLAIMS MANAGEMENT

I had a telephone message from someone from Cohesian Claims Management who work with a group called RBC Claims Management. They contacted me about a rebate I am due from Northern Rock for PPI tacked onto a previous mortgage.
Naturally I'm a little suspicious and wonder if anyone has heard of them or been contacted by them.
Many thanks for any advice

Hi there
I have not heard of these, but they seem to get the info from databases from when finance have been taken out.
I would be wary and before deciding to go with these companies always check them out.
This can be done by checking or contacting the Minsistry of Justice on here:
http://www.justice.gov.uk/contactus.htm
They will possibly charge you as well, where if you do this yourself with the free help from this site you will get to keep all your money.
For more info on reclaiming PPI here:

And if you require any help from here please just yell, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

You are not due any rebate. There is no such process in place to pay rebates. Northern Rock PPI is not "tacked onto" a mortgage. It is standalone and paid monthly. Just as the FSA want it to be.
We have seen claims like this mentioned on the board before and it always seems to be the dodgy claims companies making such claims. Always be wary of claims companies that give the impression that you have an entitlement due to you or a pot waiting for you to claim or that they represent the MoJ/Govt or various words to that effect.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
