Help please,life insurance any pointers

Hi , i am self employed and had a knee problem so is on incapacity at the mo ,my partner has a life insurance,and two weeks ago we had twins,i have never worried about life insurance ,but i would hate for something to happen to me and leave my partner to struggle,we currently rent our property from my parents,as i have never looked into life insurance i dont now where to begin ,so if someone could give me some pointers about taking out life insurance and is there any good policys around thanks

Hi - I may be able to help you as I too was looking and knew absolutley nothing about Life Insurance. I would recommend a company called Click Life. They are independent, which I liked, because i didn't have to battle with a massive callcentre, and they took my specific requirements and did all the research for me. I went with legal and general in the end and it was about £22 a month joint policy. Their website is clickcompare.co.uk.
