Christmas day out?

I really want to take the children on a day out thats Christmassy in the next few weeks. I live in Wrexham, North Wales but would be prepared to travel about 40 miles. Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated. My children are 3 and 2 years of age. Thanks.

Have you ever been to Tatton Park in Cheshire. It's about an hour from you, I guess. One of my 8 yo favourite days out.
They do some nice Christmas stuff, with Father Christmas at the farm among the "nativity" animals and traditional decorations at the Christmas Mansion.
Plus they have a new indoor Playbarn and the outdoor playground is a great attraction.
