Warning - Kenya is not a cheap place to go on holiday - I am currently booking a trip to Kilimanjaro via Kenya
the Jabs, Visas, Mosquito tablets, the travel insurance are all fairly costly
These things alone are running to about £300 for my trip, I am going for 3 weeks, I would imagine they could be £200 pp for a 2 week trip0 -
i went to kenya 2 years ago on an all inclusive and did the 2 day safari and it was fantastic. The hotel we stopped at looks better though but that price it sounds worth it.0

Can't quite see this.
I've got worldwide travel insurance (inc USA etc.) for a whole year for BOTH me and the wife for just £78.69
I've not paid anything for the jabs at my doctors (and they last for 10 years anyway)
The anti malaria tablets cost me just over £44 (£22 per person) and that was for 3 weeks away.
So unless the visas are suddenly rather expensive ????

ive been to kenya - and once the holiday and safari are paid, its a very cheap place to go!
for this price, who cares if its not a 5 star hotel, id book it if i had any more holidays left from work (going to Oz at chrimbo, so no more hols!)Funky Little Frog0 -
I would never go to Africa ever again.
3-weeks of bad stomach on return from Tunisia, and that was with boiling all the water, had all the jabs for free, the food is terrible there.
