    yes the inside makes lovely pulp for soups, stews and even a pumpkin curry! BTW i recall a Jamie Oliver receipe where he used the lot including skin (except seeds) to make a lovely soup!;)

    Sorry But i have to say that these pumpkins taste disgusting. They are grown for size rather than taste. I bought the morrisons ones and they were watery and tasteless.

    lidl are doing seasonal suashes as they call them...a nice array of different small pumpkins....different colours for £1 a kg....they are nice to roast and turn inti soup....iv never eaten the big pumpkins....just made lanterns with them

  • Morrisons had them reduced to £1 (from £2) today.
    I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 2010
