Culinare Manual Food Processor
It's now on the counter awaiting a good clean-up and first use, but I wonder if anyone can tell me what the 'beater' attachment is for? That's the white plastic one in the picture here. I'm sure the name must be self-explanatory - is it to mix batters and things?

I have one of these - they are fab.
AFAIK the beater is for anything like sauces or cream etc - anything you either want to beat air into or get creamy. TBH - I've never used mine as I just use the chopper blade.
I'm on my third - the first was a genuine Culinaire one which was fab but Mr TM dropped and broke the bowl. My second was a cheapy version and nothing like the Culinaire one - didn't chop anything like as well so I gave it away and I've recently bought another mainly to chop the vast quantities of onions I now use - so the kids don't find them as easily

i've got one of these as well!! Like Ticklemouse says, they're brill for chopping onions up really really tiny....and the best thing was,i only paid 25p for it on a carboot about a month ago, and it was still in all its original plastic bags!! :j0
