in Credit cards
i had a phone call not long ago asking me if i had any balances on my credit cards i told them that i did have a small balance of approx 500
i was then asked if i had had the credit cards since before 2007 whcih i have
i was then told that all the credit card companies have expcepted that this is unenforceable credit which was declared by the deparment of justise,
the company went on to explaine that they could get my debt wiped off they are going to charge me £990 per card , this all seems a little impossible has any one else heard any thing about it the lady went on to tell me that panarama had dedicated a whole show oh this story but i am ery scepticle of this as after going through this site i can find no metion of this
all this seems a little unbeleiveable is this true or is it scam?

As stated above, this has been discussed ad nauseum. Search for '2007'.0

A phone call out of the blue by complete strangers asking for money up front. Spot the alarm bells on that one..0

Pay £990 to 'possibly' write off a £500 debt. Sounds fantastic....where do I sign??:rotfl:0

if you pay £500 back its £400 quid up, blonde maths is this?0

LMAO at this thread.
I'm sitting here feeling dizzy and ill, trying to prevent myself from coughing up a lung. but THAT has just made my day.
Surely the OP can see what's wrong with paying £990 to have £500 wiped clean? If you have £990 lying around, why not just use that to pay your debt, rather than being £490 out of pocket?????We’ve had to remove your signature. It's people like you that make these scam companies think it's OK to go around phoning people willy nilly.
I don't blame the scumbag company, I blame the idiots who speak to them.0 -
Seriously though, go for it. It will take a few months though, but once you send them the cheque for £990, they'll be able to get the ball rolling and attempt to get your £500 debt wiped clean.
Okay, it'll destroy your credit file for the next six years but who cares!! You'll be completely free of this £500 debt.
But if they can't get your debt written off, you'll be back in the same position as you started. But if that happens, you could always shop around for another company who say they can wipe your debt, but I'm sure they'll most likely charge you another £800/900 or maybe even £1000.
After 10 years, you still can't get the debt written off, despite paying almost £30,000 in total, to many different companies, you should call it quits. We’ve had to remove your signature. Yes, great news!
That is a real bargain, can you give me the number of the company cos I am interested in getting my debts wiped, I don't see why I should have to pay my way in this country, I should get everything for nowt.
If I don't have to pay my debt I will be £600 pcm better off, so tell me how do I get in contact with this company? Here is my number if you want to give me a ring and pass the details on to me, lets keep it between us, we don't want people on here finding out about stuff like that.
Proliant: 0191 233 0700
P.s Please don't tell anyone my number.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0
