What sort of MP3s are you thinking of sharing?
A simple way to do this would be to use any free webspace you get from your ISP.
A simple index page with a list of the MP3s you want to share (just a white background with a list would be enough). As long as each item on the list links to the MP3, you would just need to click each item to play or download it.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Nah no good using an ISP I dont wanna do it that way or I would of done that already, its just that there is so many photobucket type accounts out there why not an mp3 one for small files.

The only sort of services out there that I'm aware of for this kind of thing would be newsgroups, or P2P.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

http://www.odeo.com/
hosts audio but you can only link to mp3s or record directly to their site - so it is very far from ideal. For a pre-recorded sound you'd have to set it up to record from your soundcard then play the file
Haven't looked back in on Google Pages for a while, but last time I looked they were extremely vague about what you were and were not allowed to do. Nothing stopping you from uploading an mp3 and direct linking to it rather than using it on their pages. They might have changed it since.0 -
https://www.yousendit.com lets you upload files, although they only hold them for 7 days or 25 downloads.
http://www.megaupload.com/ is another similar service.0 -
Cheers Sra
I had a look at that this morning and its pretty ok but mmmm well I just wanted to upload the file like photobucket or something its ok but far from ideal.

Are the MP3s something you have recorded off the net, or are they your own homemade recordings?
I can see this making a big difference as to your options (i.e. copyright). How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
