Paypal limited so cant accept paypal

I sold an item 3 days ago and the buyer emailed me to say paypals not allowing them to pay because my account is limited. ANyway I am trying my hardest to resolve it but doesnt look good paypal are being . . . .

I asked the buyer to pay postal order or cheque but they said this is against ebys rules and ebay told them not to pay outside of ebay  Surely that is not right?

I think they are trying to get out of paying. I said I would send them an invoice from my partners account and tie it into the listing they said no. I said I could relist it for them on buy it now and put partners paypal in the listing again they said no

I am soo annoyed with paypal loosing me money like this but at the same time dont see what the buyers problem is

The buyers problem is that you have triggered the 'scam seller' issues without realising it. The issue is that *you* know that you are not going to cheat them but they have no reason to suspect that you are anything other than a scam seller trying to push them into using an unsafe payment method.

If a buyer posted here and said that they had had their paypal payment refused and told to use an usafe payment method instead we wuld be telling them to tell the seller that they will wait until the paypal problem is sorted and then pay.

In the other threads you have regarding paypal I think it was suggested that you stop selling until your paypal account is up and running again, I think that would be a good idea as if you start to have problems with buyers they may leave a neg or do a non performing seller complaint and that's the last thing you need when you are already trying to cope with paypal.

Tell your buyer that you are happy to wait for their payment until you manage to sort out your paypal account, if they are not happy with that maybe consider a mutual as I can't see what else you can do here. I thought it was both yours and your OHs accounts that were blocked, so I can't see what else you can do.

Pull your listings that are still running, you really don't need problems with ebay on the back of your paypal problems. This could turn a simple minor paypal problem into a disaster. You already have one buyer getting uppity with you, you can weather that if your feedback is otherwise perfect, you can't weather a whole series of problems though.

In that case push for yours to get resolved as well, keep your buyer informed and tell him you will reissue an invoice in a few days.

There will be a concrete reason they think you money. You need to hassle them for specifics. Have you lived at your present address long? As you seem to be having all these problems with your Husbands and your accounts and Amazon as well. I was wondering if something was triggering this and these problems were all linked and if it was you address?

Do a credit search on your address then, you are having too many problems for it to be a co-incidence as I am assuming you and your OH are not 'Bonny and Clyde'.
