Telewest Price Increases WEF June '06

Apologies if this has already been posted by I've just received mailshot announcing price rises from Telewest. The following's been announced -

'STANDARD TELEPHONE LINE RENTAL WILL INCREASE BY 50P PER MONTH

Starting with your June bill, your line rental charge will increase from £10.50 to £11.00 per month. This is the same as BT's basic line rental which increased by 50p earlier this year (January). This price increase also applies to any additional phone line you may have.

LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL CALLS WITHIN YOUR TALK PACKAGE

From June 1st, after 60 minutes continuous talk, the unlimited local and national calls within your Talk package will be charged at 3p per minute. To avoid this charge, simply redial before 60 minutes is up. Mobile, international, internet and non-geographic calls like 0845, 0870 and premium rate numbers will continue to be charged at our standard rates.

CALL FEATURES PRICES WILL INCREASE

Individual call features such as enhanced voicemail, caller display, call divert, call barring and call waiting will increase from £1.50 to £1.75 per feature. Call feature bundles will increase from £2.00 to £3.50 a month.'

I hope this isn't the start of increases now that it plans to merge with ntlhell! I also notice that it's been stated that subscribers who pay cash at a PayPoint or other outlet will have a surcharge increase from £3.00 per month to £4.00 per month!
