BT to Egg Money acct

I have recently opened an Egg Money account, and also got a BOS NSPCC card with 9 months interest free BT.

Based on the article on this site I then tried to make a Balance Transfer online from the Egg Money account but this was not allowed stating that BOS could not do a BT from this financial institution.

Any idea how I can get around this, or is there an alternative card where it would not be such a problem?

Appreciate your feedback as I need this cash pretty quick and I do not want to be stung with a cash withdrawal charge.

Several other HBoS customers have reported similar problems - there appears to be a 'glitch' with online requests to BT from Egg Money.

Any idea how I can get around this...?

Ring them and ask them to carry out the BT manually.
