Vax 50% off sale from Vax themselves

edited 6 October 2009 at 6:23PM in It's gone, but was it any good?
Vax are currently selling some models at 50% off, free delivery when spending over £25
See http://www.vax.co.uk/offers/index.php
e.g. top of the range V125 All terrain carpet & hardfloor cleaner £175 instead of £350
Don't know when this sale started, but was looking around yesterday and the Vax direct price was significantly cheaper than anywhere else. (e.g. V125 at Argos £345)
We have had a lower model Vax carpet washer for nearly 2 years now, and it's great. Friends came round once and said "have you had new carpet fitted?" answer, no, we'd just vaccummed then used the Vax.
I've just ordered a V125 to upgrade our carpet washer as half the house is tiled / wooden floor, and so now we can put away the mop and bucket.
The Vax models come with a 6 year guarantee.

  • Thanks for the link. We were bidding on a VAX 125 when we saw your link and so managed to get a brand new with 6 years warranty for the same price! Thanks

  • They had a similar deal a few weeks back and i decided i didnt need a new hoover.

Then when the deal ended so did the life of my hoover. Went and got a cheap hoover to get me through until a deal popped up, so i am now thrilled to see it's back.

    Thanks OP

LOL, Ditto but ours is 5months and as we are no longer having accidents I really need to clean my carpets, been looking for a while now, so thanks OP!
  • I've been thinking of gettign one of these for some time but I can't tell the difference between them. There is no wattage info (I thought I'd go by how powerful the motor is).

Does anyone know which is the best one?

I'm probably being really thick but is it a regular hoover that washes as well or is it just a carpet/floor washer? :o
