Will be going to the Scottish FA Cup Final on 13th May, so will fly in to Glasgow International. Need somewhere to stay that's not too far from airport and Hampden Park - thought the city centre would be a good idea.
Anyone have any recommendations re hotels?

If no car then express by holiday inn in centre is good - just a short walk to the railway station and bus station and the shops very very close - Nice to be in the centre for the restaurants too.Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j0

We stayed here when we went to Glasgow a few weeks back.
Top end of Sauchiehall Street which is the main street in Glasgow. If you're going for a few beers as well then The Local knocks pints out for £1.50 and Trash night club knocks vodka and redbulls out for £1.50 as well.
Might help if i told you how much it cost as well.. We paid £20 each for a room sleeping 4.0 -

I've stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and it's very good.

I would second Express by Holiday Inn for centrality. There's also the Central Hotel at Central Station (very handy for trains!).0

We live 10 mins from Glasgow and when we get guests that want a hotel we usually book them in via laterooms.com as you can get some very cheap prices ie £30 for i or £42 for 2. Hampden is easy to get to by bus from city centre-Glasgow is pretty small so a taxi doesn't cost much either otherwise you can stay near hampden -Kings park is walkable.
Also airport is not far -£12 is in a taxi to city centre -there is a bus but ive never tried it.0 -
Express by Holiday Inn is excellent. Stayed there last month, brilliant location, opposite the bus station. We caught the bus straight from the Airport to the Bus Station, driver even got out of his cab to show us where our hotel was! :T We paid £50 per room per night and that included continental breakfast.
You are also smack bang in the middle of the city centre.
Enjoy - Glasgow is a fab place!!Only 5% of those who can give blood, actually do!
