Banking Solutions / reclaim 2 gain

Dear all,

I guess I am one of many to have received a phone call from a company called Banking Solutions in Blackpool (01253757066) claiming to be able to take on your case with a bank re the illegal charges, and thus claiming to be able to get you all the money back very quickly (quicker than January 2010?) for a one-off up front charge of £49.99?

Are they just chancers? Is it a scam? How did they get my phone number (I guess it is easy nowadays!) ?

I have not gone to court for my claim yet but I got a letter from my bank stating the whole procedure was anyway postponed.

What's your feedback on this?
Many thanks.

Eric

  • Scam scam scam, someone called me today from banking solutions 01253757066 claiming to get back bank charges, good scam though. Idiots!!, i got her name though. Paula
  • I was rung up by this company yesterday, and got a little suspicious (to say the least) when I asked them 'what was your company name again?' and they immediately hung up!

They were asking me for my bank details, which I'm glad to say I didn't give them.

I contacted Consumer Direct, and they said they're aware that this is a scam, they're definitely not genuine so tell everyone you know to be on their guard!

Oh I hope I get a call. No end of laughs giving them a load of false details and playing and doting on every word they say. Brilliant. :D
If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!! :D

  • Upon reading these messages and have noticed similar occurances with myself the company in mention have changed there name to claim2gain and there contact number has also changed now to 01253-749233. just for everyone to know ive just made a big mistake and more people need to know about this. they con you into getting your bank details out to them by mentioning part of you payment details. dont ask me how, im still thinking about how they can do that. also they have my number and like myself is already dealing with a legitamate company for claiming my bank charges back and when approached verbally to are they the same company they said back yes to fool you even more. how can we ever prevent future problems like this when they have everything a potential company you may deal with legitamately asks for. feel used abused and unlawfully attacked.
