Thanks for this! I am really struggling with horrendous vets bills in Cardiff for vaccinations etc & just told one of mine needs all her teeth removed at the cost of £500 which vet wont accept direct from petplan...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hi Thanks for the info. On the subject of pets, we just changed our insurance from Petplan to Marks and Spencers. We get the same lifetime coverage for both our dogs and instead of £21.00 per dog per month it is now £18.50 for both per month. Well worth a look in my opinion.

Thanks for both bits of advice! I emailed the surgery re poppy's teeth & will definately go to see them, despite 20 minute drive, as they have said that their max bill would be £100 - £400+ less than my current surgery! Also got back to me same day (despite being Sat eve!) & really helpful! Will let you know how I get on! Will also investigate M&S cover as I thought Petplan were the only ones to do lifetime cover...every penny counts & once Poppy has her teeth removed she'll have no preexisting conditions...poor thing!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Update...thanks Bole. I took Poppy today to the vet & her teeth are being taken out next Friday for £100. I've voted you for post of month so you may get £50 but if you dont a humongous thank you for such a great tip. She wasnt wild (understatement!) about the trip to Newport from Cardiff but they were lovely and oh sooooo cheap! About 2/3 than my vet on most things....Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hi all just another update...have now changed to M&S booty as they are better & on close inspection actually had a better maximum vet fees paid out! Went for the £40 excess in the end and with 3 of 4 cats have saved £5+ a month (ie 1 cat free effectively!!). Will change Poppy's over to them after I have her teeth done & have claimed for that from petplan! Thanks for the tip. Not sure if you have any referral codes from M&S but if you do am happy to say you referred me so you can get vouchers. If you want to you'll need to let me know the M&S code for getting dosh (leaflets in store apparently), your policy no & real name (by PM!!)... promise not to sell your details lol!! Let me know if you want me to...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0
