    Not being a mum I'm sure I could get slated for this...but...
    To me that looks like a baby's toy, and considered getting it for my friend's child who'll soon be one.Then I looked at the description and it says "Manufacturers minimum age: 3yrs"....am I alone in thinking that's odd?:confused:

    Yes that is rather odd, as if you look on the second picture (of the box) it says "over 12 months" so not sure where they have got the "manufacturers minimum age" from!

    Sure it would be lovely for you friend's child, my daughter is nearly two and has loved ANYTHING to do with In The Night Garden since she was able to show a reaction! And as it is a shape sorter it will be playable with for a good couple of years as your friend's child learns what to do with it :)

    I gave one to my son last christmas when he was 18 months old & he loved it. Sadly he is not "in" to Night Garden anymore so it doesnt get played with.
    My 3 year old played with it a few times, but there is no way I would have said it was aimed at 3 year olds!

    P.S. its not just a shape sorter - if you press the handle down & let go it spins, a source of great amusement!

    Yeah I noticed that too, think this is def aimed at babies tho, well hope so cos i've ordered one for my baby! I've noticed actually that the ages amazon puts on their descriptions are often way out! if u look at the pic u can normally make out the age on the box.
