Urgent help needed! Need to print to A5 in PDF

I am up against time to get a document to the printers in pdf format. However, the document is formatted in Word as A5 no problem, I set the printer settings for Primopdf to a custom size to match the A5 dimensions, but the pdfs are created in A4!
Anyone got a recommendation for a free pdf writer that is reliable?
Thanks very much

Maybe: Select Paper-Size A5 from the printer-properties. Then make sure that Page Scaling is set to "Shrink to printable area".
Or maybe like this:

Or Open Office:

Or maybe:

HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
There isn't an A5 option in PrimoPDF, so I had to enter the custom size but it had no effect. I eventually downloaded PDFCreator which was fine.
Thanks
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
