I always get my auctions to finish on a Sunday - put them on a 10 day listing to finish on a Sunday - then people looking at weekends have more chance of seeing my items?!Weight Loss - 102lb0

I get mine to end Monday or Tuesday as its just easier for me to post the item the day after. Always end them after 5pm.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650

My OH buys a lot of things on ebay, and he told me that Mondays and Tuesdays are very quite, so he got most of his bargains on these days when not many people looked/ placed bets.

Hmm think he could be part right, I do tend to sell most DVD's for a couple of pound which is better than nothing but I do sell some for just 99p.
I've listed some items tonight to see if Sunday really is the best day.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650 -
Start on a Thursday on a 10 day listing to end on a Sunday. I find that if you list items on Turbo Lister then they all end within seconds of each other & buyers can't bid on/buy more than one item in the last minute where if you leave a few minutes between similar items it helps. I have auctions end any time on a Sunday & always had good results.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

As long as it's before or after eastenders on Sunday. Great!!! Do not list so your item to ends whilst Coronation Street, Eastenders or a UK footie game is on you will be fine. Apart from that in my experience you will do OK.
In my opinion it is pot luck. Who can tell who looks on eBay at that particular time.0 -
I've had quite a lot of BIN items for sale recently, some with multiples on the listing - I've analysed the times and days that people have bought (yes, I DO need to get a life  ).
Children's clothes - had 6 items on one BIN listing - 4 were bought in mid-morning, 2 in mid-afternoon, all on weekdays. All bought by females - buying whilst the kids are at school? Listed another 6 with very similar results.
Camera equipment - 5 items, separate listings, all started as BIN/auction. 4 were bought on BIN at lunchtime by guys, the 5th late afternoon. Men at work, on lunch hours/just about to finish work?
Classical CDs on auctions - I find that the day makes little difference, but late (10pm - midnight) finishes get the highest prices. Music lovers with insomnia? lol!
You can all fall asleep now I've bored you to death.
I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -
