i sold a bear on ebay (talkin alfie) anyway i paid £11.99 so was gutted when it sold for just 99p but not wanting bad feedback sent it anyway. (still got bad feedback)
i no the bear was new and clean when i sent it but the buyer is saying she received a dirty old bear, could she be trying it on? ive told her the one i sent was deffinatly new and clean and have asked if there was any damage to the packaging which could have caused it to get dirty in the post but she/he just keeps saying stuff liek this
Sorry but this bear which I got certainty he is
not new, then used by the child bear
I not happy write to me your address
etc etc...
what do i do it cost me over £2 in postage she only paid 99p for the bear, i wouldnt have snet a dirty old bear as 1) it would be obvious the buyer wouldnt have been happy so i would have ended up paying postage for nothing and 2) i just wouldnt a si wouldnt sell a toy as new if it wasnt

i get this all the time now ebay have changed their feedback.
i will send someone something brand new, they will say its old and used and completely unusable. so i will say send it back for a refund, and then they say 'no its ok i can clean it up a bit if we can come to some arrangement' ie give me a refund.
then you have no choice but to refund, or you know for sure you will get a neg!

Stick to your guns, tell the buyer to return it for a full refund.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I assume you've already added them to your blocked bidders list, so they can't buy more from you to screw you over again... You do that here.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

I had this a while back. A buyer bought something from me and claimed it was completely wrecked in the post. However he also told me that if I relisted it I would get the same or more for it! I stuck to my guns and went through the whole paypal rigamorole. He won the dispute and paypal ordered that he return the item for a refund. Then I got an email saying he wouldn't be returning it as it was actually ok :rotfl:
I will always take a neg from a scally like this rather than give in. I'm stubborn though.0 -
Its just some crook (with a poor grasp of English) trying to get it for free.0

thanks all looks like i will stick to my guns and if she wants a refund can open a paypal dispute. at first i thought maybe the packaging got ripped which caused it to get dirty but shes insisting its some kind of baby food - which is impossible as ive had no baby food in my house for over 2 years. i brought the item as a gift for someone elses baby but they already had it and silly me lost the reciept.Wins for 2011: ........................
