Is Nationwide charging or not?

Read in the papers that Nationwide are, for now at least, not introducing the fee for using the Flex VISA outside Europe. No word on the NW website. Does anyone know if its referring to all fees or just the increase to 1% from July 1, and therefore still charging the 0.84%?
Cheers,

I guess you're referring to this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/article-1195040/Nationwide-U-turn-fees-hike-abroad.html?ITO=1490
It seems that Visa isn't raising its fees for use outside Europe from 0.84% to 1%, so Nationwide will continue to charge 0.84% outside Europe.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
Cheers for that. It would be nice for Nationwide to give an official word on it; but then they didn't shout it from the rooftops when they started charging either.0

Foreign Transactions
Nationwide continues to offer commission-free foreign transactions. By commission-free we mean not adding any additional charge for the service of exchanging currency that generates profit for the Society.
We pass on a Visa charge for processing transactions in certain currencies other than sterling. The fee is currently 0.84% and it will be included in the sterling amount shown on your statement.0 -
So is the post office card still better?0

They sent us a letter...I assume that all cardholders would have been sent one.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

No letter for a couple of accounts here unless it was included in the "junk" mail.So is the post office card still better?
Yes (just) but not as good as Abbey (Santander) Zero. Don't withdraw cash on a Post Office one.0 -

I'm pretty sure I received an updated T&C's leaflet with me FlexAccount statement. It's one of those things that can be easily missed or ignored.0
