Weybiza DFW Meet 1st/2nd August

This started off being a few people getting together in Weymouth, Dorset over the weekend of the 1st/2nd August, however more and more people seem interested in coming so we are going to make it a DFW free for all Meet.
The plan at the moment (weather dependent) is to meet on the Sunday for fun, drinks and relaxing on the beach in weymouth. There are bars, places to eat and other things in weymouth and around.
There are some people that are making a week of it

Toto and snags are staying here www.watersideholidays.co.uk
There are many B&B and hotels around weymouth or Dorchester but those wanting to stay may want to try and get into the same place?
If you think you might like to come put your name down, so far that I can remember we have for definite. I know there have been lots of other saying possibly and looking at trains/buses.

I did suggest everyone coming to the park where Snags and I are staying for a few drinks but I have emailed them asking about visitors coming and it seems people need passes to get on site. So, I think we might have to think of something else, which is a shame really because it would have been ideal.:A

Just checked the train times / prices, takes about 5 hours :eek: & will cost £48 for a return, travelling down Saturday morning & back on Monday morning :T

I'm sure that will be fine Sally, after all people own caravans on site so they must issue passes pretty easily. I think for a couple of people it will be fine, but I'm not sure I could get away with half of MSE on one day :rotfl::A

I am getting there on 1st tigz, it's Amber's birthday so I'm hoping to get a few folk in one place to have some cake and sing happy birthday
She never usually has many people turn up to her birthday parties because she has special needs, so it would be lovely to have a little party for her :A
