abbey bank charges

i thaught id been doing really well and hadnt incurred any charges for a while. Then my latest statement arrived this morning and there are 6 separate bank charges totalling 180 that wil be taken from my account all at once. The charges date back to feb, march, april and may yet i have never received any letters. Is there anything i can do about this

i would write to their complaints dept and if you dont get a satisfactory reply send it to the Financial Ombudsman Services. I was in the same boat they charged me over £400 in the one month. A dd that was applied for at least 6 times and they added loads of charges onto it and their interest etc. They shouldnt get away with this. Good luck x:jLiving Life to the Full

same thing happened to me this week. I think they are going to refund them. After several different phone calls i eventually ended up at the proper people who look after charges.clear 15000 by xmas. ......June 26th 08, [strike]

aug 1st down to 4000 (paid off 3000 plus interest, transferred 2000 to lifetime balance 5.75%, so does that count:beer:0
