I am running XP on my desktop and I can't get IE 7 to load up first time. I have to go through Control Alt delete as much as three times every time I go online.

Any suggestions/ideas
Thanks

Un-install the blighter or upgrade to ie8.

If you are ctrl -alt deleting that might be stopping essential services in the process and leaving the pc vulnerable to viruses and corruption - corruption of installed files is probably the core reason you are getting the problem.

And once you fix have fixed IE - get firefox.

In XP - you go to control panel, add-remove and click on Windows Components (and IE7 update should be in there). And remove that update.

Before you try anything else, start IE7 and pop into Tools>Internet Options. Under the Advanced tab, you should see a button labelled Reset.

    Click on it.
