Charge of £1 for printing slip from ATM of Bank of Ireland

Recently a charge for £1 appeared on my bank statement from the Bank of Ireland for Feb and March and after I queried this with my Bank, they refunded this to my account after I argued that to the branch staff. I told them that I only get a monthly statement posted to me every month without asking for an extra one in Feb and March.
This morning I was in Bank of Ireland again because they haven’t posted me a bank statement for May. They printed me one instantly and I noticed that there is another one pound bank statement charge in April again. Therefore, I checked with bank staff again and got a very surprising answer.
The teller asked me have I ever printed out the slip from ATM in the past month, and I said yes, “so that’s it. When you request a slip from ATM, you will be charged one pound. So we would like to suggest you don’t print it out but just read your balance on screen.”
Well, just a reminder for all the BOI customers in UK, never ever to print out the slip in ATM, otherwise you will become the next victim of rip-off.
