Rules of the " Discover the world! " Promotion (“Promotion”).

THE PRIZE

One of two £4,000 (four thousand pounds sterling) travel vouchers to spend on travel products and services made available by Expedia.

PROMOTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Participation in this Promotion is open to all EU residents, aged at least 18 excluding employees of Expedia group companies, their agents and any other person professionally connected with the Promotion. Expedia reserves the right to ask for proof of residence.

2. To enter the Promotion draw, you must participate in the “Discover the world!” game at http://game.expedia.co.uk (the ‘Game'). To do this, you must register to play the Game by providing your title, first name, last name, and valid email address. Once you have done this, you will visit each of the 5 continents and will have to locate 5 monuments pictures at the right place on a map. In every continent, you play to gain more chances to win a Prize. You have 30 seconds to locate correctly each of the 5 monuments at the right place on each continent. For each monument correctly identified you will be given two entries to the Promotion draw for the Prize. After a continent is completed, if no monument is correctly identified in respect of that continent, you will be given one entry in respect of that continent to the Promotion draw for the Prize. After each continent, you will be able to send an invitation to a friend to double the entries you just won in respect of that continent. The email addresses of the invited friends will have to be validated to be booked, and must differ from one another. Only one participation in the Game per person is allowed. No purchase is necessary for entry

3. By playing the Game, you agree to receive offers from Expedia and/or our partners. You also agree to verify with your friends that they would also like to receive offers from Expedia and/or our partners, before inviting them to participate in the Game.

4. All personal data collected for the purposes of the Game and Promotion will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Expedia's Privacy Policy.

5. By entering the Promotion, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Promotion terms and conditions.

6. Two winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries received at noon on June 30th 2009 - French time (each a ‘Prize Winner'). Prize Winners will be selected from the participants by one judge from Expedia and one judge from a third party. Expedia will contact the winners by email after the June 30th 2009 and will provide details of how to redeem the Prize. If a Prize Winner does not respond within 15 days of the sending of this email, then another draw will take place from the remaining pool of entrants and any new Prize Winner notified as above.

7. Note that by entering this Promotion you agree to have your name released as a Prize Winner, should you be drawn as a Prize Winner. The name of the Prize Winners will be available for one month from the end of the Promotion by sending a stamped S.A.E. to Expedia at the address below and will be published in the Expedia email newsletter.

8. The Prize must be redeemed in a single transaction by 30th October 2009 and travel must be completed within 6 months of the booking date. Usual booking terms and conditions apply. Any tickets and vouchers issued will be non-transferable, non-refundable and non-changeable.

9. The Prize has no commercial value and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any amount nominally residual in the Prize once travel products and services have been booked by Prize Winner will not be refunded in cash.

10. The Prize Winner will be responsible for supplying valid passports and visas and, where necessary, for obtaining appropriate vaccinations and inoculations. It is strongly recommended that travellers take out adequate travel insurance. Any additional amount spent by the Prize Winner over ₤4,000 (four thousand pounds sterling) must be covered by the Prize Winner.

11. The Prize Winner accepts responsibility for his proper conduct during redemption of the Promotion.

12. Expedia reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this Promotion without notice in the unlikely event of major catastrophe, war, earthquake, or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other similar event.

13. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and with the exception of liability arising either from fraud, or from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Expedia or its employees, Expedia excludes all liability howsoever arising connected with the Promotion and all warranties, conditions, undertakings, terms and obligations implied by law (whether by statue, common law or otherwise).
